Cabin
A hand-built log cabin for two, where the wood stove glows and the lights run on propane.
About
Heritage 1 is a step back to something simpler. This hand-built log cabin sits among the spruce with a queen bed, wood stove and propane gas light, but no electrical power. In the evening, light the stove, turn down the propane lamp and enjoy a kind of quiet that’s getting harder to find.
Out front, a covered porch gives you a place to sit among the trees, with split firewood stacked nearby and the lake just beyond. Running water is available during the summer, while showers and toilet facilities are a short walk away at the separate wash cabin.
